Itumeleng (Itu as we call her) contacted me last year to do her wedding for her. She and Elias planned their wedding all the way from Qatar where they are both lawyers, but decided to get married here in South Africa, as all Itu’s family lives here in South Africa. Elias on the other hand had a bigger challenge, his family came all the way from Lebanon to spend the special day with them. Elias’s speech was so emotional as his mom and dad (Joseph and Elham Matni) could not travel from Lebanon. BUT…there is always a way, they skyped them on the evening of their wedding.
As we approach the venue (Makiti) at 11am the sun was out, a beautiful day, however round about 3pm the clouds arrived and it started raining. We were very lucky, and as Itu walked out on her way to the chapel the rain stopped. As you know me, I was on the grass again taking photo’s, and was soaking wet…LOL..note to self: “Always carry an extra set of clothes”.
And YES, I know I could not get enough of Itu’s Jimmy Choo’s, are they not absolutely gorgeous!
